PARING UNSTARTED COLTS WITH YOUTH FOR MUTUAL GROWTH AND REHABILITATION

Most horses in rescue circumstances have experienced trauma through previous human relationships or being pulled from family members. Some have issues building trust with people and others, finding no reason to connect at all. These horses have many parallels with the youth today.  This program is very dear to our hearts having tremendous opportunity for youth to connect with these horses on the deepest level, heal each other, and create a bright future for both members involved.   We will be facilitating this program by teaching the youth trauma-informed relational-based horse training/re-training techniques; not for the faint of heart. Our intention is to facilitate trust, connection, relationship and in some special circumstances, possible adoption.
